We are seeking a highly skilledPayroll Accounting Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on managing payroll reporting, union payment reconciliations, and financial data analysis. Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and analyze Excel-based reports from SAP ECP extracts to enhance reporting accuracy for union payments, contributions, and payroll GL reconciliations.
- Support weekly and monthly reporting for Division Accounting Departments through detailed data analysis.
- Generate ad hoc reports from SAP ECP extracts to assist payroll, union, and finance teams.
- Verify payroll data and troubleshoot errors related to payroll earnings, dues, and employer contributions.
- Research and fulfill external union or pension/health plan requests for employee information or payment verification.
- Reconcile weekly union interface files, ensuring accuracy in union payment processes and resolving discrepancies.
- Provide data support for union audits related to pension, health, or 401k employer contributions.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of union payroll balance sheet accounts.
- Calculate adjustments for union-related deductions and contributions on an ad hoc basis.
- Collaborate on special projects and reporting initiatives to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- Advanced Excel Proficiency: Expertise in pivot tables, formulas, financial formatting, and combining data from multiple sources.
- ERP System Experience: Comfortable working with large-scale ERP systems (SAP ECP preferred), extracting data, and downloading reports.
- Understanding of Payroll Results: Familiarity with payroll processing and willingness to learn union-specific requirements.
- Organized and Deadline-Driven: Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with external union vendors.
Preferred
- At least 1-2 years of payroll reporting and analysis experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Zoom, Teams, and comfortable with remote collaboration tools.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proactive with excellent follow-up and multi-tasking abilities
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $35 - $45/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
